I thought I'd post my zines I did during the Blaseball Zine Jam, which if you don't know, was a jam run by the lovely Jun (I was also a mod) where for a month straight blaseball fans contributed to a variety of different solo and collaborative fanwork zines.

I can't say enough how much I loved this project, so I wanted to share my solo zines I made for the jam.

Feels Like Home

A Zine on Siestas, Identity, and the Mexico City Wild Wings. I finished this in a call with my girlfriend before we were dating the night before the jam ended. I'm quite fond of this one, I put a lot of heart into it. This one also talks a bit about familial grief, and the weird disconnect created by having your culture walled off from access, well that's what I was thinking about while writing this at least.

My Heart at the End of the World

A Short Retrospective on the end of The Expansion Era. Made in the Electric Zine Maker, a reflective art piece about how the end of the Expansion Era went. Fun fact, season 24 was my first season as a community rep (so happy the rep role is gone), and the comments on the emotions throughout the season are quite real. The Fridays were the Lovers sister team, it was fucked to see them go. I did not have a good time in the late expansion era, but I didn't have a bad time.

Light Posts of San Francisco: A Blaseball Zine

My first ever blaseball zine! Mostly an og art and EZM test. I think I made this during early siesta, pre short circuits. Also a little reflective of my character takes at the time. It kind of degraded into chaos, like all blaseball lore does. Would some of the art be put on actual lightposts? Probably not (note to self, make new advertising posters for the Lovers) but it was fun regardless.
