Over in the Developer Insights section today, we have this Q&A with the developer of Melatonin, a rhythm game that curiously eschews the UI conventions of the genre in favor of teaching the player to find the beat through the environment. In his discussion with game director David Huynh, writer Joel Couture gleaned some key insight into how the team made this work within Melatonin's dreamy, chillwave world.
