Hi Friends, I'm Eric! I live in Germany and am big fan of baking and communism. I'm also one of those "got diagnosed with ADHD when they were in their mid-to-late 30s" people. I spend most of my days making videogames while not having a job and getting welfare, which is always a fun time, since videogames hates poor people and all that.

Anyway, I'm currently working on a platforming game called "Virtue's Heaven" , which is going to be about life at the End of History and punching the Enlightenment in the face.

I have also various other games both on Steam and itch.io , for people to both buy and play.

Occasionally I even write stuff over on my personal website!

I'll probably share a bunch of gamedev stuff over here, but I might also try and share some baking recipes and things as well, since I feel this space gives you a bit more room to this properly, as opposed to something like twitter? Who knows, really. To be honest, I did not expect to be let out of posting Jail that early, so just strap in and see where this all takes us.

I wrote about the incredibly weird world of Photo CD games.

Something I love is that if a format is even slightly interactive, people will find a way to make games in it. People love making games, and people will make games anywhere they'll even slightly fit. Photo CD was a format for putting your family photos on a CD, or for photographers to show off their portfolios - but if you have interactive menus, and the ability to have some sort of picture and sound, that's enough to make a game. And some people did. Some of them are pretty cool, even!

I cover a few different things, but you'll see picture-based interactive fiction, storytelling activities for parents and children, and of course an appearance by everyone's favourite The Flowers of Robert Mapplethorpe.

This one was really interesting to research. Hope you enjoy.
