back on linux i had the option to single-finger scroll. basically, you rest one finger anywhere on the trackpad, and scroll up/down with the other. so you only have to move one finger.

now this doesn't work on macOS, because it's all gestures. linux just registers it as "two fingers? yip! that's a scroll!", but macOS is like "yeah but what are you gonna do with those fingers, my friend?".

madness. i hate double-finger scrolling, but there are really good shortcuts on macos, i just can't.

i never used a Mac and i probably never will lol. Once i was teaching a friend how to use Ableton and i said "ok now you right click on the timeline" and she was like "how do I even right click" i was like WHAT DO U MEAN YOU DON'T RIGHT CLICK and we took like 5min to discover how to right click on the Mac laptop LMAOOO
