whenever starting a new game for the first time (particularly on steam), set a 90 minute timer. ideally, at the end of these 90 minutes you should ask yourself - "did i enjoy my initial impression of this game?"
if yes - feel free to do whatever, but if no - consider refunding.
ideally, games should make a good impression on the player within their first minutes. while a lot of games can do that, there are some that don't (see: my last chost, i didn't enjoy FixFox so i refunded it after 70 minutes). and you have the absolute rights to ask for a refund.
