i have spent the past... no idea how much time checks clock 3.5h? it's 3 am already?*
anyway i've spent the past while writing the spec furcode2!!!! i am very far from done, but it's coming along nicely. i am not going to write a thing for parsing it, DIY. but it's gonna be easier to parse than the furcode1 because of some questionable 1998 design choices.

also taking notes from A Strange Cat's chost for this, these are good ideas.

i need some input

i have added a section for "bugs and insect" species, but i know pretty much nothing about this new trend of insectsonas, so suggest some generic ones in the comments please.
also suggest some "thematic variations" modifiers. i've changed "cyborg" to "robotic" and added "rubber/inflatable", as well as "living latex" as modifiers.

in reply to @reth's post:

Have you added a fish section? That was conspicuously absent from the original furcode, especially as sharks are a mainstream species now.

Some bugs and insects we see relatively often:

  • Moths
  • Bees
  • Butterflies(?)
  • Spiders

Thematic modifiers:

  • Plush
  • Goo
  • Demon

Angels and fae are thematically similar to demons, but have nowhere near the same collective popularity. It feels weird to only pull demons out of the generic magical creature box though.
