anyway what i learned from this is “macOS is free if you don’t value your sanity”. i think i’m actually going to try DSDT patching to fix this goddamn battery.
i will blame lenovo’s engineers for thinking “oh look how smart we are, we can use an internal and an external battery so the user can hotswap them or whatever”.
and that results in macOS reporting my battery capacity as 948 mAh. when the total combined sum is over 30000 mAh. great.
