intel networking devices bring me great pain. (prefacing before the cut: i am taking care of my mental health and everything is okay and i am being normal)
i'm trying to fucking figure out why won't the IntelMausi kext load. it's in the config plist, it's enabled, all that shit. but in kextstat - it's just not loaded. why?
i've been restricted to only wifi internet connection for now. and it still sucks. i've just figured out why bluetooth didn't work - because the fucking IntelBTPatcher kext was never added to the config. and i'm not even sure if it fixes it, because i cannot reboot because fucking time machine has been running for the past seven fucking hours (probably more) and it's only 62.2% done. you know how much it transferred in that time? 16.68GB. AFP is a fucking joke. intel is a fucking joke.
time machine still reports itself as "8 hours remaining". you fucking know why? because AFP is a joke and does not know what UPLOADING IS. i just have a btop window open beside it. it jumps to like 2-3MB/s every once in a while, after that it just does mostly radio-silent at 0 bytes/s. why. why. why. why.
it's 1 ante-fucking-meridiem. i need to sleep. i cannot because of this fucking Conputer. there is too much Sunk Cost, it's almost over but it's not at the same time. i need to back this up before i accidentally fuck something up tomorrow.
some day i'm just going to snap and get an old mac mini for like 25$ to have as a Mac Data Backup Server.
tardis my ass. please, if somebody knows why the fuck my hackintosh kernel panics upon inserting an ethernet cable into my I219-LM module. thinkpad t4-fucking-70. please help me figure this out.
