This tempts the data nerd in me so much it's unreal.

EDIT:

Okay so one some reflection I think this is mostly sample selection bias, because, I do actually know a fair amount of people in stem fields who aren't particularly kinky. But I do also know a fair few people who are in shared kink communities and kink spaces who happen to be in stem fields. I feel like we might be self selecting accidentally.

That said - A definitive study would help settle that argument
