honestly i thought people were over-exaggerating how much SEO bullshit there is on the internet nowadays, but it’s rare that i go on the wider web for problem solving. today i did. i did not like it.
saw so much SEO bullshit, some of it was even incorrect. literally saw one of them SEO websites say that sqrt(2) is ≈1.7 and be sure of it. yeah sure whatever.
on that note, today i discovered that the website of the band My Enemies & I has been domain-squatted and now has an autogenerated SEO bullshit “blog”.
there are a bunch of other examples i’ve noticed too, like:
The area of an A3 sheet of paper = 297 mm * 420 mm = 124 740 square centimetres. This way we see that the area of an A3 sheet of paper equals 124 740 square centimetres.
these are real words written by real neural network algorithms.
