one of the most interesting things about the 2022 macbooks is the Third, Secret Speaker Positioning Type.
usually you see laptop speakers positioned either at the bottom (like on my thinkpad), or at the top, to the sides of the keyboard (like on pre-2022 macbooks). the redesigned macbooks take this one step further by putting the speaker array on the hinge, facing the display.
it's honestly an ingenious solution. audio pretty much always reflects to your face, and the sides of the keyboard are now cleaner. i love it.
