I feel people who like, don't feel their art is good because of whatever fucking reason need to step outside the internet and show real people their art sometimes.
Every nurse who saw my Live2D and art while I was in the hospital was flabbergasted.
My grandparents proudly display the lil sketchbook zine I made last year among their fancy ornaments.
The other day my sister wanted a patch for a girl guide leader friend of hers and I didn't have a lot of time so I sublimated one and it had a rough ass zigzag trim that I was like, I'm sorry!! It's kinda rough!! The white was sticking outta the green trim in spots it wasn't great!! And the feedback I got was that it was the most professional thing the other ladies had ever seen. Something I felt embarassed giving to my sister was the most impressive gift she's ever given.
You gotta like.
Get a reality check sometime dude.
Talk to normal ass people.

if you don't know the original, i'm sorry. the first part (not pictured because google is shit) is a picture of an artist making a cake and being all disappointed that it's not as grandiose as the one next to it. then this guy (pictured: a normal ass person) shows up.
My mom took what I thought was some of the most cringe art I made in my late teens/early 20's and turned it into Christmas ornaments she proudly displayed on our tree for over a decade. Every time she'd take them out of the box of ornaments, she'd have to exclaim, to herself if no one else, "I love this so much", or "That's so cool", etc.
Can we see what the artwork was?
This. This was the super festive Christmas ornament. Basically "What if Cell from Dragon Ball Z was a Sonic OC villain." Even at the time I was kind of embarrassed by it, but she genuinely thought it was awesome. I think there was one or two more, and I felt embarrassed about them. But she always made sure to put that guy on the tree year after year.
