A close-up of Twitch channel point redeems, all three featuring Bun-E03 with bombastic names suggesting what they do.

Spent the last bit of vacation working out some bits and pieces that I've been meaning to get up and running for a while, and I've come up with a process to allow people to change how Bun-E03 appears on stream via Twitch channel points.

A close-up of Bun-E03 in chibi form, wearing cutoff shorts, glasses, and an "HP/MP" t-shirt.
So I've had some of these already in bits and pieces in streams over the last couple of months, but I have a total of 16 different outfit possibilities for Bun-E03. Some of them are palette swaps, while others including a few randomized variations, such as her t-shirts (there's currently 11 of them), which is further randomized by if she's wearing glasses and / or a pendant.

People can either use points to pick a specific CONFIG (i.e. outfit), or have Bun-E03 choose one herself. Of course, if you deliberately choose what she's already wearing or keep requesting something that doesn't exist, she'll get increasingly annoyed and won't change her CONFIG at all via conditional statements set up in SAMMI.

I'm also working on additional messages and phrases that can be pieces together semi-randomly to make interacting with Bun-E03 feel that much more lively, but for now, it's just individual messages based on if the selection was valid, invalid, or what she was already wearing. (If a random outfit is rolled, she comments on what she picked in chat, instead.)

Of course, there's also the "Showtime" option, which has Bun-E03 upstage The Monitor by standing in front, complete with a little animation of her bumping The Monitor a bit to the side. You only get her Brilliant Blue CONFIG with this, though I did put the animation together in a way that it's a bit of a template that I can use in the future.

It's all set up through SAMMI so that rewards are turned on and off depending on the scene and what's been redeemed, which prevents someone from redeeming something they can't use. There's also a multi-stage system of checks to allow for people two extra chances when they request a costume by typing a message in chat if their initial redeem didn't work while checking the username to ensure it doesn't get hijacked by someone else.

I'm sure actually putting it to use will cause things to break in ways I never could have expected, but I'm excited to see how this works in a live scenario and what improvements I can make to it down the line.
