Putting a line here because oops, can't start with a break.
I bought a day planner late last year since I got one for 2023 but didn't use it nearly as much as I could have. I'm changing up my approach this year and being more forgiving on myself; any tasks that aren't essential to living that take longer than a few minutes are movable and have a soft deadline in the future. I tend to try to cram too much into one day, then write it off as a point at which I've failed.
At the same time, it lets me write out larger goals and break them into smaller tasks, something I'm not great at doing mentally. It also functions as a record of the things I DID accomplish each day, which I find helpful to look back on.
Trying to avoid falling into the same traps I did last year and learn from both the ups and downs of 2023.
