  • Commissions. I've generally tried to avoid the "monetize all your hobbies" train but something something late-stage capitalism. I've been hacking away at extremely detailed and clear terms and conditions because of some bad experiences in the past, and I'm gonna lean on PayPal invoices with payment up front. I know there are other sites and services for commissions, including Ko-Fi which I thought about previously, but I don't want a middleman.
  • Speaking of Ko-Fi, I might set up a basic "sketchbook" membership tier, just a place to give early access to sketches that otherwise wouldn't make it to being posted, more detailed in-progress stuff, or maybe high-resolution exports compared to the smaller, more lightweight images I typically post up. Either way I want to avoid a haves and have-nots kinda deal and make it early access, not walled off.
  • Streaming is a hard one to figure out because it's not super compatible with a full-time job that has me in the office a few days a week now with hours of commute time. I like doing morning art streams on work from home days when I can because I was going to sit down and do art anyways, it's games that I have a harder time figuring out because I tend not to normally play games for multi-hour stretches (with breaks, of course). Still figuring out that balance since it was much easier when I was on vacation for two weeks. And, honestly, I put a lot of work into my own stream overlay and presentation over the last... uh... nearly two years, so I really should be using it more.
  • Also related to streaming, want to put together more guides on SAMMI and OBS audio. I'm a broken record about it but there are some - I'm not gonna say super easy, but not particularly difficult fixes for common audio issues. And with various external services like Streamlabs and StreamElements outing themselves as terrible in various ways over the past couple years, I really want people to be able to own as much of their own production as possible, which SAMMI is great at.
