Something I want to put into writing soon-ish is the world building I tend to do, even if most of it is off-screen. My internal running joke for myself is that I can't make a one-off character. They have to have Lore and a World to exist in; it's just how my head operates.

And, honestly, it's kind of a wild ride going from a sketch labeled "Bunny Mascot Idea" in late 2019, to the first rough sketch of "bunny mascot" with actual design intent and a name behind it in 2020, which looked like this...

An early sketch of Bun-E03. She still has her primarily white and blue design, but various parts of her outfit are different.

... to then having that influence not only how my art as a whole is represented, but the entire direction of my streaming overlay and theme, which now looks like this.

Screenshot of Bun-E03 against a CRT monitor-like backdrop with some basic information displayed.
Bun-E03 holding her hand out towards the viewer in a pose, a holographic heart floating above her outstretched hand.
A streaming overlay with Bun-E03 in chibi form sitting on top of The Monitor, a robot with a CRT television for a head.

Superfuture Technolabs quickly became the world that housed all these ideas, and allowed me to build out a sort of parallel world that's not held down by the same tethers as our own. Bun-E03 was the drop of ink that curled outwards into infinite possibilities, and so much of it still has yet to be developed. I think that's pretty cool, and I'd like to explore it more.
