Just what it says on the tin. Curious what thoughts / experiences people have on using one, the other, both, none? Patreon did me dirty in the past but it seems what most people rely on / are most familiar with. Ko-fi takes a less aggressive cut but isn't as feature-rich with tiers and options.

I've been looking into commissions, too, but really want to nail down the language before I move forward on that.

I'm not a professional artist so I'm not sure how helpful this advice will be, but I do know of a handful of artists who use Patreon and Pixiv Fanbox together, the latter being used for more adult oriented artwork. Fanbox is a Japanese website so the default currency is JPY, so I dunno how that is on the user/subscriber ends, but it seems to be working well enough for the artists I see using that setup.
