Spinning up a separate subdomain for my blog, complete with an RSS feed. I even made a little webring badge, which you (yes, you!) can click on to go to it:

The badge seems like the exact right balance of personal touches on the background and text combined with jank from compressing an animation reminiscent of the forums I cut my teeth on. I'm dipping my toes into sprites again, and enjoying the learning process as I go.
I do have an existing blog on my website, but I never liked the layout and how it's tied to the rest of the site. Having a separate, bespoke blog just feels like a better option for me.
