I decided to go looking for the original covers of the Percy Jackson series. Not the first books but the other series like The Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo, Magnus Chase, etc. I found the original hardcovers and they are not that expensive. So, I think next month I am going to purchase, at least, one set.
We are reaching the 90-degree weather here. It was close to that early this afternoon. I think the highest we went was about 88/89 degrees. I am glad I cleaned up the two downstairs air conditioners so I could turn them on. Dad won't turn the cooler on until later next month. Again, all fine because the coolers make it comfortable downstairs without worry.
We should start seeing the 100-degree weather by the middle to end of next month. It will depend upon our monsoon because sometimes it will come early and sometimes it doesn't start until around my birthday in July. We have had two summers where we did not reach the triple digits but we did end up flooding here the entire summer.
Speaking of flooding, have you guys seen the weather in Dubai? Holy crap, that is bad. It is flooding so badly that cars are nearly underwater and you can't see much of the streets. They are saying that the Saudi government seeded the clouds to bring forth the rain. It could be true. It could be false. We will never know.
I could end this. I am heading to bed shortly. I just finished placing a book review up and now I am going to head off to sleep. See you in the morning.
