I'm so excited that the game I worked on with David Su, colorfiction, and Dominique Star is now out for free on iOS! Android should be coming out soon as well. We originally made it for the Step Up Your Sound game jam with Dolby and Playcrafting. It uses Dolby Atmos to create a really incredible audio experience when you play using headphones.
In starweaver, your mission is to collect the songs of dying gods, who take the form of planets orbiting around you. Once you collect them all, something special happens.
The story and art were so inspiring to me, and it was such an amazing experience getting to compose the gods' songs and implement them in Wwise. This was my first time writing music in surround rather than stereo too, which was really interesting! It allows you to hear the individual stems much better, which I think is pretty cool.
