Ever since I got permabanned from Twitter, I realized there's a lot of places where I can spread out which makes sense, especially since Twitter made me... lazy?
I'd just throw a link into the ether, and while that worked, it also would stress me out hardcore to where I had to have a second account just for following wholesome memes and bara artists just to be my "cool down" time line.
But in these late days, I learned that I don't have to follow everyone because I don't need all that bad news crammed into my face all at once.
There's a lot of other lessons learned for another time, but right now, since everyone's in SINKING SHIP MODE, try to diversify.
I don't know how here will differ than Cohost or Mastodon or Facebook or Insta, but at the end of the day, it's that old school notion of GOING to websites for specific purposes
