beginning to think the main reason I have trouble learning Blender is that every time I try to do something extremely simple I manage to run across a troubleshooting situation where the only solution I can find is really complex, which can't possibly be it because what I'm trying to do is baby stuff for babies. So I've just internalized the idea that no tutorial is actually going to be easy to follow and I'm going to be frustrated as hell at some point for an hour or two between "insert Tab A" and "into Slot B." I know this is not the fault of the program and I usually have no trouble following very simple step by step instructions so my conclusion is that I'm cursed, or possibly haunted.
