It's so funny: I've been told I'd make a great supervisor, or line manager, or some similar not-quite-senior roles, and that I could use my position to lift my coworkers up and make their lives better while working for some piece of shit corporation. OK, fair.
But when I tell them I don't want to work for a piece of shit corporation and would prefer to run my own small business where I can make my customers and colleagues happy with direct action, those same people scoff and say I'd treat my employees terribly.
Like, wtf?
