I love this 50s Weird Science story wherein a scientist rejects his daughter's beau and uses 'female sex hormones' to turn him into a woman (because heteronormativity means they then can't get married, naturally). His daughter finds out and is so horrified she uses his research to get a bunch of 'male sex hormones' and then they have a trans wedding.
