i've got a double for screenshot saturday. here's the guide arrow i added to direct the player towards the goal. it updates to say "escape!" once you find the trapped dog
wanted to take a break from building actual stuff to put down my thoughts on the "world map". i like how smb3 does its world maps, but wanted to make the lock/key mechanics more dramatic. instead of clearing out a castle, you have to reach the hydrant, and then aim and blast a giant fire out of the way on the map itself. i can reuse the existing fire hose logic here and just pivot the beam around the truck, and i think it'd be funnier
