is that sometimes it kicks my ass. I feel like that's something that's missing in a lot of games, especially indie games. I want to feel like I've earned this story, you know? Like I, rngDolphins, have struggled and overcome the challenge. I've quit quite a few games because I felt like they were too easy, including some that I really enjoyed. Random thoughts while I stare at a game over screen~
But once you unlock the "State of the Realm" you get treated to one of the most breathtaking UIs I've ever seen. It tracks all of the characters and their relationships with each other, and all of the greater political powers in the world and their doings, and it does so over time so that you can easily see the entire state of the world as it is today and compare it with how it was a year ago, 5 years ago, whatever. Seriously good stuff.
