@DonutRush asked:

What is your favorite ship type? Pick from as broad of a range of star wars as you like

To my profound shame, I have always been particularly enamored of the Z-95 Headhunter. There's something about "You know the cool ship the good guys have? What if it had fewer features and was old and awful1" that just thrills me.

  1. I know you said "ship type", and I think I can get into that here; I know for a fact that it was my adolescent daydreaming about adventuring as a bounty hunter in a Z-95 that led to me accepting the Mandalorian getting a hot-rodded N-1 Starfighter without hesitation or question. I mean, to the point that an N-1 is just a Z-95 turned 180 around, from a profile angle. So I guess my type is "single-seater junked up starfighters well past their prime". My first car was a 2-door '85 Honda Civic, so maybe there's something to that.

Z-95 Headhunter forever babyyyy I love that ship so much

(additional shoutout to Star Wars: Jedi Academy, the best Jedi Knight game for many reasons, one of which being that your character's personal ship is a Z-95 Headhunter hell yeaaaaah)

While this question is not directed at me I want to bring up the Pinook from one of the xwing games.

It's whole thing is being terrible due to the company making it being the target of many regulations.

I love my fail son

I love the Z-95 but I hate the Z-95. It lures you in with its "a X-Wing but for minimalists" aesthetic, but the second you sit down in the cockpit, you realize that this thing will break if you even sneeze in the wrong direction. If I wanted to die in the cold vacuum of space, I'd jump in a TIE Fighter, which is at least faster and makes a cooler sound.

I was so close to posting "post-Galactic Civil War surplus TIE fighters converted to civilian use" as my response, but with the strike done, I want to preserve the joy of those who are watching Rebels with AMCA and haven't seen those great Mining Guild TIEs.

But I think you nail it-- what I really want is an X-Wing with an overheating mechanic. If I'm going to pretend I'm the best pilot in the galaxy, I want to fly a ship whose wings might snap off if I turn too fast. What is Star Wars but having your ship fall apart around you in the middle of a chase?
