I have bad news for you man!! if everyone decides they don't want "to be involved in day to day work" you don't have a product anymore

hi. i'm hanging out. i like fire emblem and comics and stories and women. i don't post very often.
i am over 18
I have bad news for you man!! if everyone decides they don't want "to be involved in day to day work" you don't have a product anymore
im honestly just dreading when this shit inevitably does actually tank zoom as a company and everyone just says "oh well" and those of us who managed to hold onto remote meetings for safety just get forced back into sitting in a room full of 20-30 other people breathing all over everything with their moist mouth-holes and idk just die i guess
here is the truth you likely didn't want to hear:
in a future where Zoom ceases to exist, all remote meetings will be handled by Google Meet or by Discord.
judging by our org's existing office365 services, it'll probably just be Teams
but more likely the research group will just accept Zoom shutting down operations and not replace it with anything
It’s so funny because like if everybody does this then Zoom is useless because robots will be talking to each other and meetings might as well not happen. Dude’s truly lost.
zoom is pretty market saturated so killing their product is kind of the only thing they can do for infinite growth
It's impressive how consistent AI is at turning rich dudes' brains into absolute mush.
that + everyone using your product during the lockdowns and assuming that growth slope will be constantly increasing seems to attract both CEOs and economists
Their secret: their brains were already mush to begin with.
Putting vast computational resources into making the SOS Lateness sketch real
It turns out the only thing harder than making a man understand a thing when his salary depends on him not understanding it, is making him understand that thing when his salary depends on him understanding it. At least, tech execs sure as hell make it look that way.
The perfect business of the future is just sixty chatbots yammering back and forth forever.
There's been a few gaffes like this recently. The dating site AI wingman comes to mind... I assume they know this is a nonsense and it's to please know-nothing shareholders asking about their AI Strategy.
