How am I supposed to enjoy the White Nationalist accidentally coming out to his friends when he starts threatening to kill queers?

I’d written this comic last year based on real conversations heard in the factory. It was the height of the Bud Light temper tantrum, and I really didn’t feel safe in that break room. I started eating lunch in my car pretty soon after hearing this exchange.

It’s unfortunately very prevalent in any job where you have to deal with the public. Everyone’s got an opinion on whether you should be alive or not, and I really don’t want to hear it. I didn’t let people know I’m nonbinary at the factory, because I saw enough truck decals declaring allegiance to the aryan race to know I wasn’t safe there if i was out.

Yeah. It really really is such a frustrating thing to encounter literally all the time. But I guess thats what makes these online spaces all the sweeter, full of people who will support you as best they can
