Just woke up from a dream. I was selling books at a comic convention that was in half of a still functioning Toys R Us. Someone was buying a Robin & Cat book from me I hadn’t seen before. The R&C gang were hopping through different worlds. There was magic and strange things going on, like doors that opened up in the sky. I flipped through the brightly colored pages and made my sales pitch for “Robin & Cat: Weird”. And they buy it was Canadian dollars for some reason. Well, the money said “Canada”, but every bill was blue. And there were one’s, which wasn’t weird until I woke up and remembered the Loonie. So those probably weren’t Canadian dollars.

ANYWAY, maybe I should make “Robin & Cat: Weird” into an actual thing? It might be what I need to get out of my comic-making funk.

Thank you, subconscious!

"The Toys R Us Convention Center" has a surprisingly nice ring to it. And would probably be a better use of the brand than anything in the last few years.

Anyways yeah that sounds like a fun story idea, and you could even frame it as being in a dream or a shared one between the two if you wanted.

That’s a good idea! I’ve drawn Robin’s dream before where she was in Mario Kart and was driving naked. So it could still be sort of canon!

And Dream Toys R Us Comicon was pretty cool! You could take a break from your table and go look at the Lego aisle.
