I don't know why but I was reminded of the show Q-Force earlier today, and got fascinated by how it seems to have left no mark whatsoever. You'd think that a queer show that generated that much controversy would at least be talked about just two years later?

Like, I'm still seeing semi-regular think pieces and video essays about Cats (2019) but there doesn't seem to be anything like that about Q-Force.

I never even saw the show beyond the (very bad) trailers, but at the time it released I did see some queer people argue that it was surprisingly good. But it seems to have no lasting following, nobody really defending it or talking about it at all. Was it just so bland that there's nothing interesting to say? I dunno, it's just weird how it blew up, made everyone angry for a minute, then vanished without a trace.
