my dept had their end of the year reception/awards this evening and i swung by because i need to get out more and also free food and also it's the last one i'll probably attend. I have some big feelings about it and while I won't spend time sort of working those out right here, right now (i have a journal for that), it did weirdly drive home some things for me. idk, big things, hopefully mostly good, on the horizon
