i already argued with this post on tumblr but i'll go it again: it's entirely reasonable for River Fury to reference cheese in his line because it's a diss, it suggests that Eastern wind's wife is inferior for bringing cheese to the heavenly rat party, and delegitimizes foreign influence in Chinese society
