i love little enclaves of tcg players who are only into ccgs because their favorite ip got a ccg. and so they dont know the terms e.g. magic players use for things so they make up words like "JoaT"

idk im just very interested in the language we use to talk about things in games communities. for example, Clash Royale, and seemingly only Clash Royale, has the convention of using the average elixir cost as part of the deck, to the point where people have opinions about the number "2.6" with the same ferocity as people who hate the London opening in chess. when the Clash devs gave players a tooltip with the average elixir cost of their deck, did they predict this? surely not

i guess the closest magic term would be mana curve, but that's more about how many cards you have at each resource cost

average mana cost is something i know arena does and i've used it a couple of times to make a decision about how many lands i play in a limited deck, but more often im just using the vibes of a deck more than the exact average mana cost
