Cohost page for RoryDropkick - Thanks for visiting. Let's be friends! I am also on Discord. Lets talk, why not?

It's been a challenge for me lately. I've been in the horrible habit of buying more than I am watching lately. Being a tokusatsu fan, all of the recent releases of Super Sentai/Kamen Rider/Ultraman/Others has hit one after another and I have an unfortunate mental block of "get it now before it goes out of print" in my head.

Criterion has been releasing more shows in my wheel house ( I don't like that word for some reason but that's just me. I keep thinking wheel kick from Fighters History) so that has been another stack of movies that have gone unwatched.

Again, do I have to schedule times for myself for everything? It looks that way. Maybe 2 movies a week. Take time to digest and even write something about it if I feel like it. I like talking about it with friends. I find that I am better communicating it verbally than on paper or online, but I will give it a try using all three methods. Couldn't hurt right?

Now where do I start......

"Get it now before it goes out of print" always feels alarmist and silly... right up to that moment when it goes out of print and you didn't get whatever it was. (Within healthy boundaries, obvs)

Anyway! I hope you have fun :D

Thank you! It happened this year with a release from Discotek.. I bought it and within 2 weeks they announced it was going out of print. After that was a whole line of OOP announcements that sent me scurrying, fortunately I got the ones I wanted but that was a shock!

I'm looking forward to new stories and revisiting old ones with new eyes, it's exciting!
