it is a game boy rpg, the localized title of saga 2. it was one of my favorite games as a kid because the party members you choose all played by slightly different rules, including monsters who could eat the meat of other monsters and transform
use a guide unless you are an old rpg liker. i love this game but the mechanics are opaque as hell, especially said monster evolution 😅 it is possible to eat the wrong meat and evolve backwards and never be able to recover
