It’s honestly one of the best works of fiction in the last decade and somehow available for free. If you’re at all a fan of wuxia or anything adjacent to it I can’t recommend it enough.
[edit] my standard suggestion, since the first few pages are a bit off putting, is to read until the line “ah good, the bus is here”. If you’re not intrigued by then it’s not for you most likely.
