the "everyone who has ever died for their country was a clown" meme is pretty close to the long and short of it. big boss gets told soldiers shouldnt have to die for politicians and his answer is that all soldiers should be self employed
I dream of a day when someone makes a game about the Boss running her unit back in WWII. And that this game would somehow allow... I don't know, somebody somewhere, maybe Solid, maybe Sunny(?), to make good on Boss's legacy. Because Big Boss, Kaz, and her own idiot son all screwed it the hell up. Even Strangelove tried to rebuild her as a war machine! How did none of these dopes get what she was saying?!
