So Tesla manager called a tesla worker cuz his wife had discussed the working conditions on twitter claiming it violated the confidentiality the employees agree to in the contract and theyre not allowed to talk about "what happens in the corporation" so they made her have a
video conference with the union who asked her questions and she couldn't according to the contract paragraph she refered and she couldnt actually answer it.
So he asked if the contract is written for the US employment\work market and she had to admit it was.
So they told her that in sweden we have freedom of speech and the working conditions at a worksite can never be confidential information.
and here I thought USA always yelled they had the most powerful freedom of speech etc. 🤡
(sweden has its own sucks re: freedom of speech its just immensely lol-worthy.)
tesla: this is a work secret youll get in trouble for contract breech if you tell the truth about your working condition!!!!!! >:(
swedish engineer: oh my, I didn't know that, we better go talk with the union lawyers to clear this up so we know what we're allowed to say or not :)
