talespin is in a family with both the big o and indiana jones and it's fuckin weird to come to it last. the big background paintings of cape suzette are delicious and remind me of gotham in batman tas with wider palettes. i am entirely unfamiliar with the kind of island-hopping adventure serial branch of this group.
i love the child of an entitled rich kid who just wants to shoot machine gun. i don't love their decision to basically start the series with a feature length film (in four parts) but there seems to be a lot to like!
