Got a call transferred to me from someone wanting to know the gender of their fetus. I think the call center person heard her request, typed in "gender" and transferred without reading any further, omg ridiculous
Very surreal to work in gender affirming surgery and have someone on the other line forcefully asking "did the blood work come back yet do you know the gender of my child what is the gender of my child tell me the gender of my child" like ah it took me a hot sec to realize what she meant
"wait until it can speak"
