My kids thought the toaster looked like it had a face and asked me to turn it into a robot friend. I took it apart and washed the parts. Took the wheel and motor modules out of the roomba and we're well on our way.

That rules! Is the rest of the Roomba (minus the vacuum, I assume) going in, or do you have a particular controller in mind?
The Roomba is just parts in a bin. I will be using a Raspberry Pi for the brains. I've got some RC motor controllers I'm going to try and get it to talk to.
