my partner Finch and i have been planning a trip for me to go see them at the end of October, in part as a birthday gift to me π
unfortunately, several things have suddenly happened that might make that a little more difficult, and if you've got some spare change, i'd very much appreciate a bit of help with it!
i was expecting to travel on my Swedish passport (thanks dual citizenship!) because i haven't yet obtained a new US one...partly because i was waiting on my name change to go through, and then because new US passports cost in the ballpark of $165
lo and behold, my Swedish one just expired! i am passportless and 4 weeks away from an international trip :'3
my next option is to get an expedited one through the US Passport Agency in Seattle, but this will cost me even more due to travel and expediting fees. ouch!
anyways, if you wanna help a critter out, they'd appreciate it! my ko-fi shop is also still open until Oct 1st if you'd like something in exchange for your monetary support! ;3

tldr; i'm a little burnt out due to financial strain that started with an incident last year, and which has given me a commission backlog i haven't been able to get out of. gonna go get a part time job about it next month, and also i might have a few commissions slots open in October to help tide me over
