@thricedotted was complaining about being inundated with pop-ups about new features when they open Discord but I feel like that's most software now and many websites. There's this collective fantasy that all the users just can't wait for all the new cool things because it's probably too depressing to admit that many if not most of your users are just hoping you aren't breaking their workflow or somehow making the software completely unusable because someone needs a number to go up on a chart and anyway. It sucks that it has to be like this even when the people making the software know their users feel that way

it is! love to see changes made based on what users actually are concerned about.
I do kind of hope the cohost corner becomes dismissable (though I will continue to read the update posts themselves
most importantly imo, changes that are like "heres what this person worked on and what they dealt with" in a little gloss are just. so human. "im excited because i made you a thing" versus "im excited because im marketing you a thing"
