A decade ago or more, someone posted on 4chan's /x/ board, claiming to have found a mysterious flash drive under circumstances I no longer remember but which were, presumably, spooky. The contents of the flash drive, which the OP uploaded to (I assume) Mediafire, was a series of audio files, each labelled with the word for "death" in a variety of languages, many (perhaps most) of which used non-Latin scripts. The audio was dark ambient music. If memory serves, it was competent, though certainly not groundbreaking. This having been posted to /x/, the other people on the board unquestioningly accepted the OP's story and, as this was again /x/, they were all either scared shitless for no reason or pretended to be scared shitless for no reason.
I had these audio files at one point, but the hard drive I had them on has long since died. This is a long shot, but is there anyone else who knows of this and, if so, do you have those songs? I've been on a dark ambient kick recently and I want to see how that old thing holds up.
