sometimes (sometimes!) a thing comes around in the feed many times and i am glad to be able to see comments evolve without needing to interact with them myself. i get hit with the "everyone you follow rechosts the thing" and have even been the originator of it on myself like twice, so we still need some kind of deduplication, ofc.
but i kind of like being able to see a chost i liked come around again and notice the comments have shot up from 2 to like 4+10, evidence that a conversation is probably happening! and often that shit is another layer of fascinating or insightful once yall get rolling. i wonder if this kind of experience could eventually be fine-tuned with filtering controls. customizable deduplication settings?
