warnings: you gotta pay to access the progression server. the regular game is f2p, so tread with caution if you are vulnerable to cash shop shit. if you are not, the cash shop is mostly just boosts and cosmetics iirc and the membership came with enough points to keep buying many hours of xp boosts without putting any extra money in. this game is also old. if you dont know what playing everquest is like, i strongly encourage just playing on the f2p servers for a bit to see if you mesh with it. if you are strong enough for forums and game modding, there are custom uis available that help but idk about them. i am a bard main. that is also a warning.
