today i started my morning by vaping in the snow under an umbrella and singing along with the kingdom hearts openings. when it was released, i hated face my fears and i only just now realized that it was because it was not as fun to sing along with as simple and clean or sanctuary. (i used to know hikari and passion by heart as well but those were lost to time)
but that is kind of apt. i was a young teen for kingdom hearts 1. i loved the surreal nonsense melodrama for what it was. simple and clean is kind of mournful but not really low energy and my brain latched onto it.
im fucking 30-whatever. my emotions still light rockets in my body but i feel that burn now. sometimes it is nice to rest and let the instruments take over. im coming around on it
