i love cohost but i think one of the things that hurts the most here is not being able to see a user's follow list. i get it, i guess? but that's like such an incredible way to actually learn about new people and get started on a real feed. i know multiple people who have a lot of trouble getting into cohost because they're not in one of the niche communities here, so the just see nothing. few friends reblogging the same post and empty tags from their interests.

i think it makes cohost the hardest one to get people on board with.

im sayin we should bring back follow friday culture........ if there isnt a passive way to discover new people then i GUESS it will have to be people intentionally and systematically recommending people to follow in a curational way

Yeah, one of the reasons I don't use cohost as much as I would have liked is that I just... can't find people I want to follow. Everyone seems to be in a own clique of their own that I just don't know how to find about and everything else is just dry.
