I kept parsing this photo as a an owl in some kind of suitcase. Rotate the image 90 degrees conterclockwise. The owl is laying on is back, facing out. The ear became a beak, the cat's right eye became the owl's left eye, the fur was fine feathers.
Incredible mental confusion, given that an owl in a suitcase is...unlikely.
Oh wow, I totally see it! Either an owl or a big fluffy penguin chick.
